Vic Sethi left Kuwait in 1990 during the invasion of Kuwait by Iraq. He stayed for a few months during the occupation. He came to the UK in 1991.

Vic was born in India, but spent all his life in Kuwait. His parents wanted him to grow up to become a role model as a true multicultural personality, so they educated him through Roman Catholic Convent schools.
